Dr. Stege grew up in Tallahassee and graduated from Florida State University in 1980.  She attended the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine and graduated in 1984.

She has been in Veterinary practice at Timberlane Animal hospital since 1989.  She is married to Mark Stege, and they have three children: Jennifer, Sean and Sara and one grandchild, Aiden Park.   Her hobbies include dog training and showing, especially Dog Agility.  She also enjoys gardening, reading and being with the family.  Recently, she has completed Therapy Dog Training with Chloe, her Golden Retriever.  She and Chloe have joined the R.E.A.D. Program and look forward to beginning working with young children learning to read this Fall.
